The Buried Life parody Rihanna’s music video for We Found Love.
Damn, there needs to be a new season of The Buried Life out soon!
“Passive” by A Perfect Circle
Every time I watch Constantine, I will sit and listen to Passive immediately afterwards. I loved the song from the moment I first heard it, so when I found out it was used in the film and even had a music video based on the film, I had to watch it. From then on I was hooked and the film currently stands as one of my favourite films of all time, if not my favourite.

“We’ve been trying something a little different this tour. We’ve been looking at one of our songs from a different angle, under a different light, so we can hopefully kind of see it almost for the first time.
We’d like try that for you tonight, is that okay?
We’re going to need your help though. We’re going to need your help and your permission. So we need you to find a comfortable space that is not only comfortable, but vulnerable. I want you to shut your eyes and go there, and we’ll meet you on the other side…”
I fell in love with this song (She & Him - Why Do You Let Me Stay Here?) when I heard it in this short video for 500 Days of Summer.
I’m so very glad the original video is just as cool, and in its very own direction.
Lately, I’ve been listening to as many odd music mashups as I could find and so as an avid Rick Roller and Nine Inch Nails fan, I love this.
The two tracks used in the mashup are “Never Gonna Give You Up” and “The Hand That Feeds”.
Feel free to visit Brat Productions to listen and download some more.
I had never heard of Miles Fisher until I watched this music video of his on YouTube a couple of days ago. It’s a cover of the Talking Heads classic song “This Must Be The Place”.
The video itself is one giant homage to the cult classic American Psycho and similarities between Miles Fisher and Christian Bale are quite fascinating.

“Grown So Ugly” by Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band. This afternoon I went rummaging through my dad’s CDs looking for an album that disappeared from computer at some point and I came across “Safe as Milk”, an album by Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band. It might not be their best album, but on the back cover held “Grown So Ugly”, my favourite song by The Black Keys and now I know it’s a cover. I’m not that surprised in fairness seeing as the name alone sounds likes a Captain Beefheart song. If anything, I now love both bands even more. If you’re interested, The Black Keys version can be found here.
