Internet National Anthem of the Day: Lynnea Malley sets your feelings on Facebook to music in the maddeningly-relatable “Facebook Song.”

Also: *pop*

[thanks jeezymccreezy!]

I’ll stalk her on facebook once I’ve finished watching her YouTube videos.

YouTube isn’t bitchin’, I am.

Do you know what I’m dam hating right now, YouTube and their stupid Content Preferences and Location Restrictions.

Content Preferences is that stupid box that appears whenever you clear your cookies or when you view a video on YouTube via a link on facebook. I hate it because I don’t want to be restricted to United Kingdom content and I don’t want to have to repeat myself every single time I clear my cookies.

Why not store the information in my account details?
Why don’t they just have the default set as worldwide?

I do not want to be stuck with only stupid videos of strictly come dancing and other ridiculous reality television shows that humiliate the entire human race.

Admittedly, the second point is out of YouTube’s hands, they used to get away with having uploads of shows and music videos because the suit of companies didn’t use the internet. Still, music videos not available in my region? That’s a bit stupid considering they aren’t in the best quality so it’s not like people are going to just listen to music off YouTube and never purchase music ever again, in fact, I’d bet watching the videos might even encourage sales.

YouTube got lame pretty soon after Google bought them. Sure, the performance and design might have improved, but its essence was lost.
